    出現(xiàn)以上種種現(xiàn)象的最根本原因是大家在學(xué)習(xí)單詞的時(shí)候,只是片面地追求每天背單詞的數(shù)量,沒有從真正意義上掌握單詞。要想解決以上問題,必須做到以下幾點(diǎn):

    凡事預(yù)則立、不預(yù)則廢,做好計(jì)劃才能從容應(yīng)對

    靜下心來將單詞的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)列下來,計(jì)算一下能夠分配給英語詞匯的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間,計(jì)劃好每天應(yīng)該完成的任務(wù)量,每日的任務(wù)必須當(dāng)日完成,因?yàn)橄旅婵赡茉僖矝]有專門學(xué)習(xí)詞匯的時(shí)間了,如果有些單詞不能一次性記全,那就應(yīng)當(dāng)做記錄,記下這筆帳,在以后的習(xí)題練習(xí)時(shí)補(bǔ)上。

    全面地學(xué)習(xí)、理解、掌握單詞

    對于重要的單詞,不僅要學(xué)會其基本詞義,還要能夠拼寫,知道它的語法特點(diǎn)、習(xí)慣搭配以及語體色彩等。

    重視合成詞和派生詞

    在實(shí)際的考題當(dāng)中,許多生詞都是以派生詞的形式出現(xiàn)的,有時(shí)是多個(gè)詞在一起組成的合成詞,如disgraced,materialistic,two-and-a-half,build-up,downshifting。

    任何時(shí)候?qū)W習(xí)單詞都要有所區(qū)分,有重點(diǎn)地學(xué)習(xí)。這一點(diǎn)對于英語來說,更為必要,因?yàn)閰^(qū)分單詞有利于我們分清單詞學(xué)習(xí)的輕重緩急,做到心中有數(shù),做到有計(jì)劃地學(xué)習(xí)。一般來說,我們習(xí)慣把單詞分為四類。

    第一類為基本詞(1497個(gè)),指我們已經(jīng)掌握的詞,如able,active,borrow,camera,dark,death,joy,manager,restaurant等等。

    第三類詞是認(rèn)知詞(1125個(gè)),這類詞指我們以前沒有學(xué)過,或者我們比較陌生的詞,它們的特點(diǎn)是意義比較偏,使用頻率不是很高,有些單詞的拼寫還比較復(fù)雜,但是它們的用法比較固定,本身沒有帶短語,也不和其他詞構(gòu)成習(xí)慣搭配。如anniversary,bibliography,earthenware,homogeneous,microcomputer等等。

    對于這類詞,要達(dá)到能夠識記即可,也就是說當(dāng)文章中出現(xiàn)這類單詞時(shí),我們能夠知道其意思。

    第四類詞是核心詞(2606個(gè)),也就是復(fù)習(xí)備考中最重要的詞。這類詞本身意思多,附帶的短語多,搭配活躍,在各種場合出現(xiàn)的頻率高,并且有許多同義詞和近義詞。如accommodate,accordance,benefit,communicate,conform,observe等等。

    對于這類詞,大家要能認(rèn)得出,聽得懂,寫得對,用得準(zhǔn)。

    掌握各種短語和搭配

    動詞是句子的核心,是絕對不可缺失的部分,同時(shí)在句子中的搭配最為活躍,其附帶的短語最多,變化形式最多;介詞和其他詞的搭配關(guān)系是約定俗成,動詞和介詞搭配都是固定的,所以必須牢記,沒有使用規(guī)定的單詞就是錯(cuò)誤,如accuse和of搭配,charge與with一起使用,這一點(diǎn)在寫作中尤其重要。

    needless to say i travelled six hours to go back my house and expected everything to be ended there. but that was not the case. while trying to open the door, i suddenly found my wallet together with my keys were missing, the only explanation was i left them on the bus. i tried to knock the door open but nobody answered, and was told by my neighbors that my family had went to my grandpa's house and would only be back in the evening. when i told them about what happened today. they all laughed and said the bus driver was bluffing me because there was no so-called direct bus in the town yet. i was really very frustrated.

    upon spending another 6 hours looking up to the clear blue sky until after the sunset, my parents and my brother finally came back. after telling them what happened, they refuse to believe and even accuse me of lying to them. guess what happened next? i was grounded for a month. and my brother laughed and said there was a big L ( which stand for loser) on my forehead.
